Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

Geaux Green Design, LLC will identify methods and strategies to reduce your business or home carbon footprint. A carbon footprint is "the total set of GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product" (UK Carbon Trust 2008)". A site can be evaluated to determine existing conditions that contribute to a larger carbon footprint and prescriptive measures introduced to develop a more efficient and sustainable space. 


LEED^® Consulting Services

Geaux Green Design, LLC can provide your business LEED^® training for team members and staff, to facilitate the certification process. Advise and review building detail to determine feasibility of LEED^® Certification for the project. Advise and assist in determining which points to pursue to achieve certification based on budgetary requirements and goals.Organize and coordinate the LEED^® Team for documentation and process management. Provide LEED^® Team members with direction, sample documents and templates, and resources. Direct LEED^® Team members to all applicable CIRs (Credit Interpretation Rulings) relevant to the project. Conduct required LEED^® meetings with LEED^® Team and Commissioning Agent. Write and distribute meeting minutes.



LEED^® Project Administration

Geaux Green Design, LLC can assist you with the final submittal to LEED^® On-line,
which includes the Letter Templates as provided by the USGBC, the LEED^® Checklist, all narratives, including the overall narrative, and documentation for each prerequisite and all anticipated credits.
